Welcome to the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County

The Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County is one of 31 coalitions throughout Florida. It is a community based, private, non-profit organization focused on improving the health and well being of pregnant women, their children and families.

Healthy Start Coalition Programs Include: The Healthy Start Program, Healthy Families Hillsborough, MomCare, Zero Exposure Project, Family Support & Resource Centers, and Watch Me Grow.

Healthy Start Coalition Initiatives Include: The abcProgram, Baby Bungalow, Beds 4 Babies, Black Infant Healthy Practice Initiative, Fetal Infant Mortality Review, Interconceptional Care, Help U Grow "HUG Program, Healthy Mom Program, Safe Baby Campaign and the Newborn Discharge Packet.

Funding Sources Include: Children's Board of Hillsborough County, Florida Department of Health, The Ounce of Prevention Fund of Florida, Allegany Franciscan Ministries and March of Dimes.
